How we made Ramadan better for 1,444 Muslims in Lagos

During this year's Ramadan, we noticed that some Muslims in Lagos couldn't access healthy meals for Sahur and Iftar. As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we decided to address this issue by organizing a unique charity activity.

Together with ten mosque leaders in Lagos, we provided 1,444 Muslims with free nutritious meals throughout the five-week fast (288 per week). This decision was in recognition of the 1,444th anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's migration to Medina. We aimed to impact people and communities during this special occasion significantly.

Imam Isa Ashiru from Onigbongbo Central Mosque expressed his gratitude, saying, ‘The holy month of Ramadan preaches love, peace, and caring for others. We are happy that OctaFX has approached the Muslim community to promote caring and sharing by providing this support during this special time.’

At OctaFX, we carry out annual charity activities and programs during Ramadan, focusing on educational, financial, and humanitarian aid. We look forward to continuing our efforts to support educational infrastructure, short-notice relief projects, local communities, and small to medium enterprises.

Ramadan's trace: training workshops for teachers in Indonesia

With funds raised during Ramadan, we sponsored two impactful training workshops for teachers from ten schools in Indonesia. As a part of the 'I Love Reading' literacy program, the workshops aimed to equip educators with skills and curriculum resources to enhance literacy instruction and foster a love of reading among Indonesian children.
